For those who love the ailies, there is the HR Giger Museum in Gruyères. The small town of Gruyères is also worth a visit. Be sure to try the meringues there. And to top it all off, visit Gruyères Castle.

The very trip to this area from Geneva or Bern is an adventure in itself. Yet it takes a hiking or skiing outing for the full splendour of the Saanenland region to truly reveal itself to you. Our hotel then serves as the luxurious «base camp» for your expedition into the mysteries of nature.
As your hosts, we’ll do everything we can – in word and deed – to turn your expeditions into unforgettable experiences. We feel especially strongly about this, enthusiastic Saanenlanders that we are. We’ll open every possible door for you, make you privy to all the pearls of the region, and ensure that you never go hungry or thirsty on your adventures.
